The Dream

In 2006, Daniel (Director of 1LoveHTX) had a vision about a gathering that would bring healing to our city. A single location where the public could come find physical, mental and spiritual aide. Set in a relaxed atmosphere of fun with great music and great local food vendors. This vision included all people with several organizations present to offer help. “We are called to love God with all our heart soul and mind. And to Love our Neighbor as ourselves!” This is exactly what “ONE LOVE HTX” is all about, loving people right where they are, and helping everyone find hope and specific help for their needs. Set in a non-religious fashion without elevating a one church or organization; we truly believe this event will be a powerful way to bring credible and effective organizations together with one goal - to help the hurting.

Since 2006, Daniel has been involved in countless organizations and efforts to selflessly help others. With years of efforts pouring into youth organizations and adults, he has spent time going where he has been led. Some of those are, working with marriage groups, addictions and underprivileged or hurting youth. Through this love, he created a skateboard ministry called “OCTIV8” that encourages healthy activity and replacing negative places in life with positive ones. Daniel loves sharing hope and the good news with others.
